GPMP students and faculty attend "Fail Safe" movie viewing

GPMP students and faculty attend a showing of the 1964 movie “Fail Safe” (starring Henry Fonda and Walter Matthau) during the University of Chicago’s Doc Films Thursday-night series "Splicing of the Atom: Nuclear Taboo in Cinema”.  Doc Films is on record with the Museum of Modern Art as the longest continuously running student film society in the nation, going back more than 75 years.  Doc Films is only slightly older than the medical physics program at UChicago, which was established in 1955.
