I joined the GPMP in 2022, after graduating from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Physics and a minor in Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations. I currently work in Dr. Timothy Carroll’s MRI research group to better understand hemodynamic compromise in ischemic stroke patients through the use of rosette pulse sequences. In particular, these sequences facilitate measurement of the oxygen extraction fraction, which may correlate with future stroke risk and outcomes.
In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, climbing, playing cello, and reading or watching science fiction.
