I joined the GPMP in 2022 after graduating with my B.S. in Physics and minor in Spanish from St. John’s University and M.S. in Medical Physics from San Diego State University. My master’s research focused on a comparison of supercoiled and linear DNA-based dosimeters to quantify DNA damage from kV and MV photon beams. Now, I work with Dr. Samuel Armato III on the use of AI for image segmentation of mesothelioma tumors and COVID-19.
Outside of research, I’m an active member of the Medical Physics DEI committee, the BSD’s Dean’s Council, and the UChicago Comprehensive Cancer Center. During my spare time, you’ll find me exploring Chicago, hanging out with friends, or playing with my cats!
