I joined the GPMP in 2022 after graduating with my B.S. in Physics and minor in Spanish from St. John’s University and M.S. in Medical Physics from San Diego State University. My master’s research focused on a comparison of supercoiled and linear DNA-based dosimeters to quantify DNA damage from kV and MV photon beams. Now, I work with Dr. Samuel Armato III on the classification and segmentation of mesothelioma on CT scans. I'm also investigating clinical relevance of different AI metrics on pneumonia chest radiographs.
Outside of research, I’m the co-president of the Medical Physics DEI committee and a trainee associate member of the UChicago Comprehensive Cancer Center. During my spare time, you’ll find me exploring Chicago, hanging out with friends, or playing with my cats!
